Getting Away With Murder

Who Killed the Electric Car? (1hr 32min 23sec)

This past ThanksGiving holiday I was at my Mom's house and she recently got digital cable for the same price as her regular cable for a year. I watch the film above, on one of the Stars channels. I was shocked, touched and captivated by the history of it.

For years now we have been made aware of the slow killing of the Earth by humankind's pollution and waste of it's resources. We have been slow in making changes to prevent the devastation that is to come. The home that we call the planet Earth is foreseen to be a toxic bed that we are making for ourselves. Have we done our best in our own interests? One of the major pollutants to the atmosphere are from car exhausts run by fossil fuels. Why haven't we found a solution to an alternative fuel source yet? Has greed and pride clouded our judgment?

Well there was a solution created. The electric car. Which run CLEAN (with zero emissions) and fast... But somehow it disappeared from the roads. Some would say it was murdered. So Who did kill the electric car. And quite possibly our future existence on the planet? And most importantly why? This documentary, Who Killed the Electric Car, brings to light the events that lead to this and also brings up many questions of what are we going to do about it.

I do not know how long this film will be available online, but I urge you to view it and take action.
